The fastest way to reach us is by email. We are a small operation and we read everything that comes in, though it sometimes takes a few days to reply.
What to write about
Anything, but the things we are best placed to help with are:
- Corrections to a name's meaning, origin, or spelling. We take these seriously and update fast when the source is good.
- Suggested middle name pairings we have missed, especially across cultures we are still building out.
- Names we are missing entirely. Tell us the name and the origin and we will add it.
- Press, partnership, or syndication enquiries.
- Privacy and data requests.
- Bug reports and broken links.
Response times
Most emails get a reply within a few business days. If your message concerns a privacy or data request, we respond within the timeframe required by your jurisdiction (typically 30 days under GDPR).
What we cannot do
We are a small team of writers, not a name consultancy or a baby naming service. We cannot pick your baby's name for you, and we do not offer paid one-on-one consultations. What we can do is help you think more clearly about the choice using the tools and writing on this site, and answer specific questions about anything we have published.
